Naryn Canyon is the picturesque flow of the Naryn River in the region of Tash-Kumyr in the Jalal-Aba Region of Kyrgyzstan. The canyon is famous for its stunning views of the blue and full-flowing Naryn.

The Naryn River is the largest river in Kyrgyzstan, it merges with the Karadarya River in Uzbekistan and forms the Syr Darya, the second largest river in Central Asia. The color of the water in this part of the river is very different from the others, due to the fact that passing through the Toktogul Reservoir and the cascade of Hydropower Plants. The water is cleared of most of the impurities and acquires such a beautiful blue shade.

How to get to the Naryn canyon?

Naryn Canyon has a fairly large length, starting near the city of Karakul and passing up to the city of Tash-Kumyra along the Bishkek-Osh Road.
