Besh-Tash Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in northern Kyrgyzstan, located in the Talas Region. Besh-Tash is the largest lake of the Besh-Tash Nature Reserve. The lake is located in the beautiful Besh-Tash Gorge with alpine meadows and amazing views.
The depth of the lake is 28 meters and the height of the lake is 3000 meters. The water has an amazing turquoise hue, what creates an excellent contrast with the surrounding snow peaks and green grass. If you visit the lake in April or May, it is the best time to visit when the lake melts from ice. A little below the Besh-Tash Lake there is a small nameless lake.
